Who We Are

A faith-inspired beacon of hope

Restoring hope and improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and families across Cameroon.

Be Hope of Glory Humanitarian Program is a faith-inspired, community-based humanitarian initiative committed to restoring hope and improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and families across Cameroon.

Established in September 2021, the organization responds to the immediate and long-term needs of people affected by poverty, displacement, illness, and other life challenges. Through practical humanitarian assistance, emotional support, and livelihood empowerment, we strive to restore dignity and create opportunities for people to rebuild their lives.

Guided by our hero statement, “Fostering compassion, renewing hope,” we believe that meaningful change begins when compassion is put into action.

An outreach gathering — the heart of Be Hope of Glory's work

It began with one woman's compassion

Be Hope of Glory was founded by Madam Bah Glory Bih, whose own life journey inspired a lifelong commitment to serving others. Growing up in Cameroon as a young orphan, she experienced firsthand the realities of hardship and uncertainty. She worked at Delmonte Banana Plantation, where earning a living was difficult and opportunities were limited — yet her faith in God remained steadfast.

After relocating to the Netherlands, she never forgot the struggles faced by vulnerable people back home. Those memories, together with her desire to give others the hope she once longed for, led to the establishment of Be Hope of Glory in September 2021.

What began as a simple act of compassion has grown into a continuing humanitarian mission reaching vulnerable communities across the South West and North West Regions of Cameroon.

Meet Our Founder

We walk alongside those the world overlooks

Across many communities in Cameroon, countless families continue to face the effects of poverty, displacement, illness, unemployment, and conflict.

Widows struggle to provide for their households. Internally Displaced Persons work to rebuild their lives after fleeing violence. Orphans and vulnerable young adults seek opportunities to become self-reliant. Elderly and physically challenged individuals often face daily challenges without adequate support.

Be Hope of Glory exists to walk alongside these individuals and families — providing practical assistance, encouragement, and opportunities that help restore dignity, strengthen resilience, and inspire hope for a better future.

More than food and supplies

Our work goes beyond distributing food items and essential supplies. We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect — so every outreach is designed to create an atmosphere of care, fellowship, and encouragement.

Where resources permit, we also provide:

  • Livelihood support for vulnerable individuals
  • Assistance with medical needs
  • Emotional encouragement and community support
  • Referrals and guidance for people facing significant social or psychological challenges

Humanitarian work is not only about meeting immediate needs — it is about helping people regain confidence and hope for tomorrow.
